Quarter 1 has been absolutely amazing this year. After a pretty average Q4(For a normal Quarter 4) with very little, big releases, we've rebounded hard and already have at least six pretty big titles out. With big name blockbusters like Bayonetta,Mass Effect 2 or BioShock 2 . This has been one of the best quarter ones in gaming history.
Now with such a great quarter (and yet we're only just begun March) would you have switched this quarter with last year, or the year before thats quarter 4? I mean besides the game that inevitably made this quarter so wonderful, which is Modern Warfare 2. Would you as a gamer enjoy a whole year with big releases coming quarter by quarter, month by month?
The industry has grown so huge, that now people are buying games after the big time for spending. People rely on these games, and developers are eager to release these titles. In the future look for more quarter 1, and quarter 2's to be similar to these two.
