Modern Warfare 2 Review

First thoughts:
ITS HERE! The wait is over and boy does it feel great. Modern Warfare 2 the sixth game in the Call Of Duty series. The sequel to the award winning game Call Of Duty 4 modern warfare. Lots of modes stuff to get achievments this game is a can't miss.

Gampelay:
First off the gameplay is almost exactly the same as its predecessor but the gameplay was done so well in Cod4 why change anything? With the same basic controls that most games have set their standars too it makes for a great time. The shooting mechanics are still of the charts with autoaim. Now with many new things to enhance your gameplay experience like heartbeat sensors, and thermal scopes it really can be addicting. The AI is very well done and the guns shot flawlessly so now other devs need to take note this is the way you should make your FPS's.

Campaign:
The game starts directly after the fourth one. With a new threat Makhrov the airre too Zakhrov. The story is told through debriefing cutscenes that can be a little hard too follow and just sort of boring. Besides that this campaing does it right in every way, With scenes that will leave your jaw dropped and twist and just all out epic finishes. The best new addition to the campaign is just the ideas that Infinity Ward came up with it's either your flying down a mountain at top speeds shooting down your enemy, Or flying out of an expolding building. The campaign never really stops it just going and going and it gets better and better. It's a litle short I would say 6-7 hours on regular difficulty but with all the other things you can do including Spec ops which is a fun twist on Co-op with special missions you and your friends do. The game has lots of twist and an ending that will leave you sweating and screaming campaign is a great way to go.

Multiplay:
The one thing that has given this game so many sales. The multiplayer with 15 new maps, Death streaks, Kill streaks, New perks, More attachments they amped it up too what everyone wanted. With a level cap of 70 and new modes like 3rd person mode and demolition you will play this game until your hands are bleeding. Same addicting gameplay amped up to a whole new level Cod4 fans who never made the switch to the new treyarch game will be proud. So many challenges to unlock ad colors and weapons, Now instead of just handguns as secondary's they have shotguns, Handguns, Rocket launchers, and the new machine pistols which are very enjoyable. Also adding Riot shields and dual SMG's, With care packages that randomly drop a UAV , Ammo, or even a weapon such as a predator missle or and harrier strike. Just off of all the stuff you should already be on your way to your local gamestop. Multiplayer is oh so satisfying.

Ending thoughts:
The campaign you will most liley come back and play again, a new mode spec ops that you could work on for days, and a multiplayer that is so well done you won't ever want to stop. Infinity Ward reaches to grab your inner emotions and it works so well. I appluad this game and everything it has done already and will do. Great job Infinity Ward!
