With great shooter mechanics, A very well put together campaign, and a multiplayer that I know I'm still plying. It has every ingredient for a great FPS.

Assassins creed 2 did everything right by adding more game play hours making story people can attach too and more options and added more game play mechanics. Ubisoft didn't disappoint.

Fallout 3 (2008 Game Of the Year) Some say had a less then stellar ending, well Bethesda took out the ending and added a more suitable way to finish things off. As well as new monsters, guns, and much more fun things to play around with.

Perks, Weapon attachments, Tons of maps, Tons of game variants, Kill streak rewards, Leaderboards, Tons of different guns, Easy to play with friends, A FREAKING TACTICAL NUKE. Must I really say more?
Best Down loadable game:

Tough choice between Shadow Complex and battlefield 1943, but I really do think Shadow complex takes the crown. A wildly creative game, that pushes how far down loadable games can go. Take at least 10 hours of game play into a side scrolling shooter. I appluad Epic this is how every Down loadable game should be.

It's Bioware so what do you expect? Great RPG with tons of mod capabilities, Fun RPG type mechanics. Good story, and game looks amazing.
Best Wii Game:

The New super Mario Side scroller went back to it's older mechanics and pulled it off. With fun Co-op mode in a side scroller, Fun levels, and puzzles not including mario is in the game which automatically gives it a 1 up.
Best PS3 game:
1. Killzone 2
Pretty good singleplayer, with fun multiplayer that has level and perks to go with it. Controls were a big problem but the features in this game go right over that.
Best X-Box 360 game:
4. Shadow Complex
3. Halo 3:ODST
2. Forza 3

With the sequel to the first exactly a year after on the date. The main thought behind the game was its either going to be the game the first should have been or just a DLC pack into game form (Halo 3 ODST). This game was neither of those, This game had everything you wanted in the first with a lot more things to do. New Special Infected, Maps, Game types, Guns, Characters. Valve is the most creative bunch I have ever seen.
Best Music Game:

DJ Hero another game we can add to the long line of rhythm/ Music games but witha new twist on the music game genre. Adding a turn table with tons of mix tapes to play and enjoy. With fun game play great music and always a blast with your buddies you can't go wrong with Dj Hero.

4. Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story

2. Dragon Age: Origins
1. Borderlands
Any of the four games on this list could have taken the crown, But Borderlands is really the one that sticks out. This FPS with four player Co-op is a blast. Never had I had this much fun leveling up. With crazy boss fights A BAZZILION GUNS, and all the time in the world, Borderlands was just awesome.

Mass effect a widely popular First Person RPG from bioware, Hitting stores in the Second Christmas (January through March)First one well made with a deep story line great rpg mechanics and much more just has us drooling for another game.

The Multiplayer king of the world that easily sold more than any other game off launch, The one the only Modern warfare 2. Very exciting Singleplayer with an intense ending, and fun places,and weird situations your put into. Pretty average story but still tons of fun. Now you have Spec Ops a game variant added where you do certain missions with a buddy, One could be taking out troops from the ground as one is safely above in a AC130. Now the life ruiner the Mw2 Multiplayer with over a gazzilion people playing online, Perks, Guns, tons of maps and just about everything you need for a multiplayer game, and really its call Of Duty and yeah its game of the year.
